Ready to bring your play ideas to life? Our free consultation is the first step. This isn't just a sales call or meeting, it's a collaborative kick-off meeting to discuss the vision that you have. It's where we will listen, learn and begin to shape your ideas into a tangible plan. We'll offer initial advice on the proposals and help define a roadmap too.

During this session we will understand your vision and goals. We'll take your design inspirations and along with the community needs, discuss the unique challenges and opportunities and problem solve any initial points.

We'll then explore the possibilities and go through our innovative product lines and manufacturing capabilities. We'll introduce you to our bespoke design service and discuss initial material options showing you how our solutions can align perfectly with your design intent.

This is when we start to put pen to paper. Scribble and doodles start to become plans and a vision. We will consider anything and everything in the Discovery phase. This part of the process is important to see the possibilities and to ensure that we achieve the best play solution. The Discovery stage will be based on information, thoughts and ideas gathered from yourselves. We will iterate and layout these initial ideas and concepts and also provide supporting notes as to our design thinking and how we've arrived at the ideas proposed.

The next stage within the Design Development phase will be to build on the selected concept and to start adding play activities and baking in play value into the design. We'll work on the visual styling and also start to look at the b-surface detail too. At this stage, we'll start putting the design and concepts into 3D so that we can get 1:1 scale. We'll also present an initial concept and moodboard that will be worked on throughout the process.

After sign off on the design, we'll then pass the concept over to our technical designers. At Massey and Harris, we offer a total start to finish process from concept design through to manufacture through to installation. It all happens under one roof, from our workshop in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Our manufacturing timescales vary depending on the time of year and our current order book, but most projects take around 3 months to go through the workshop.

Before the play equipment leaves our workshop, we have a three stage quality assurance process to ensure that the equipment conforms to BSEN 1176 and that all the manufacturing steps have been completed to the highest of standards.

Making sure that the playground gets to site safely and smoothly is a big priority for us. We partner with a wide range of delivery partners that handle our logistics. We have a dedicated haulage contractor who we've worked with for over 10 years. They're the experts in getting things from A to B and they'll make sure that all of the playground elements are shipped in the right way.

When required, we'll also ship the components in kit form and then reassemble them on site.

Once everything arrives on site, our team will then help with the installation element. We'll work with on site contractors to make sure that everything is planned out perfectly before and during the build. We'll discuss all of the details with you, so that you'll know what to expect on site.
