South Street, Rochdale

We designed, manufactured, and installed a bespoke ship play unit at South Street, creating a captivating focal point that sparks children’s imaginations and encourages active play. Complementing the ship are carefully crafted supporting pieces including a whale springer, a fully working periscope, and a wave-shaped seesaw. All of this was complemented by nautical-themed wet pour surfacing, representing the ocean, beach, anchors, starfish, and other sea life. Together, these elements create a dynamic and playful environment inspired by the sea, offering children varied opportunities for climbing, balancing, and interactive fun in a uniquely themed setting.
