Roderick Dhu Lookout Tower, Loch Katrine
Flown into place, piece by piece
We teamed up with our friends at CAP.CO to help realise their vision for a dramatic lookout tower at Loch Katrine. Our role? To design and manufacture the bespoke steel framework at the heart of the structure.
Working from CAP.CO’s concept, we developed a modular steel solution that could be fabricated off-site, transported in sections, and lifted into place by helicopter, ready for CAP.CO’s expert team to complete the build with beautiful timber cladding.
One of the best views in the Highlands
The result is a one-of-a-kind lookout that feels as timeless as the landscape itself. Clad in rich, stained timber that echoes its surroundings, the tower offers visitors sweeping panoramic views across Loch Katrine and beyond.
