Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester

Right in the centre of Manchester, Piccadilly Gardens is one of the city’s busiest public spaces, so when commissioned to design a play area here, we knew it had to be both fun and functional. At the heart of the scheme is “Dilly the Snail,” a bespoke slide that brings charm and instant appeal. The surrounding play equipment includes reed spinners, balance rails, and tulip spinners, all designed to engage a wide age range with durable materials suited to a busy urban environment, while maintaining a playful and inviting atmosphere.
