Lakeside Adventure Play, Heaton Park

When developing the two towering Bud structures, we took inspiration from the park’s natural surroundings: seed pods, sprouting buds, and tall trees. Climbing routes weave their way up through abstract steel tree platforms with Robinia panelling, with every step offering new play opportunities. From chain nets and climbing walls to crazy climbers and wobble bridges, the journey to the top is as thrilling as the slide back down.
