Contemporary Adventure³ playground unit installed at Bramhall Hall
Challenge
The old play area at Bramhall Hall was in real need of a facelift, especially as the Hall itself was undergoing a major restoration.
Already a destination location, this site warranted a bespoke built Adventure³ playground unit and the brief was to develop a unit that could be installed in phases as additional funding would be sought at a later date.
We designed a three cube unit with intertwined slide that could have the final top cube and slide installed when the funds were available.
A triple bay swing, Tulip spinner and a range of stylish stainless steel balance items were all included in the design, along with artificial grass and resin bound aggregate surfacing.
Solution
The Adventure³ unit offered an exciting climbing challenge with a difference.
Replacement swings were manufactured in complementary colours with central integrated swing barriers fitted to keep children from running in front of the Nest Swing.
The stylish stainless steel Tulip spinner was a smart new addition replacing the old roundabout.
Result
The finished area was a fantastic transformation and the artificial grass was a great addition to an area surrounded by trees and plants.
Tegula edging and new surfacing gave the area a quality feel and different levels within the space created great areas for children to play on the different equipment.
Refurbished seating and pathways completed the scheme which truly befits the renovated hall.
