We were approached by The Jockey Club to create an impactful play area within a set budget for their racecourse at Market Rasen. The client was after a product that offered free form play, and also allowed for the users to create their own play journey. The client was after a solution that utilised materials that didn’t stand out and that fit seamlessly in with its surroundings.
The end product was a bespoke play tunnel that allows children to create various play forms, and had a wide ranging selection of play features. The materials were a premium choice, utlising southern yellow pine, alongside stainless steel to create a striking product. The play tunnel had hand carved sapele timber hand holds, and also had a curved mirror to allow children to see themselves playing.
